EM Marketing & Communication has made an indelible mark throughout 2023. With a unique mix of creativity, innovation, and effective strategies, the agency has stood out for its commitment to communication and promotion tasks for the Caribbean islands seeking to strengthen ties with Latin America.
As an allied member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), EM has been working alongside the Caribbean islands with the goal of improving their market positioning and showcasing the multiple possibilities each destination offers to both the trade and the general public.
The Work of the Entire Year
During 2023, the agency supported Antigua and Barbuda in Public Relations and Marketing efforts in Latin America. It also developed the press strategy for the islands in the region, including a fam-press that involved journalists and influencers, as well as disseminating the most important news in the trade media.
In addition, in collaboration with the CTO, EM participated in some of the most important global tourism industry fairs with several member countries.
“EM has demonstrated exceptional strategic vision by following the latest trends and technologies. The agency has not only kept up with the pace of change but has led the forefront, developing projects on new platforms and formats to achieve successful results,” says Elsa Petersen, CEO of EM Marketing & Communication.
2024, a Promising Year
EM’s hallmark is its innovative and creative approach. Its team of professionals is already preparing the strategy to accompany Caribbean countries in their plans for the new year. “After a successful and innovative 2023, we aim for a 2024 full of opportunities,” Petersen states and adds, “We are already working on the planning of the various initiatives that we will be developing in 2024 alongside our clients.”
From the agency, it has been hinted that they are evaluating their participation as allied members of the CTO in trade events such as:
- WTM Latin America: From April 15, over three days, the most important B2B travel and tourism event in Latin America will take place, offering business opportunities and access to qualified buyers and influencers in the travel and tourism industry.
- Caribbean Travel Marketplace: The 42nd edition of the event will take place in Montego Bay, Jamaica from May 20 to 23.
- Showcase Antigua and Barbuda 2024: The Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) will hold the meeting from June 4 to 7.
- Caribbean Week New York: The CTO will hold this annual event in New York from June 10 to 14, aiming to showcase the best of Caribbean travel, culture, customs, and people.
EM has not only made a difference in the last year but has laid the groundwork for a future where innovation and success continue to be its banner.
